Defender 90 And 110 Clutch

Released in the early 1980s, the Land Rover 110 and 90 were the first steps to modernise the Land Rover range since the release of the Range Rover in 1970. The 110 and 90 featured modern features, like a coil spring-based suspension system and a series of progressively more powerful engines. These powerful engines meant the 110 and 90’s clutch and gear system had to be up to the task of managing the Land Rover's increased output.

In 1990, following the release of the Land Rover Discovery, the 110 and 90 range was re-christened the Land Rover Defender. The Defender remained in production in its original run for another 26 years, with production finally ceasing in 2016. In 2020, a new model (the L663) was finally released, once again modernising the range.
