Defender Steps and Side Runners for 90 and 110 Models

An unmodified Defender has a minimum unladen ground clearance of 250mm or 9.8 inches. The wading depth of the vehicle is 500mm or 20 inches. If you have an adapted Land Rover with a raised Defender suspension kit or lift kit as a modification, or maybe you have fitted a bigger set of 4x4 tyres to give the body and diff greater ground clearance. Fitting Defender steps and side runners is a practical solution for getting into and down from the cab.

For those of you who utilise the roof top of your Defender to carry equipment, tools, ladders, bikes, kayaks, canoes and more on a roof rack, this is another example of the adaptability and practicality which goes all the way back through the vehicle's heritage.
