Starting in 1983, the Defender 110 and 90 were the first steps to modernise the Land Rover range. Featuring increasingly more powerful engines, the new Defender’s fuel system had to be as efficient as possible to keep up. See our entire range of parts and accessories below. Defender 90 And 110 Fuel System
The 110 and the 90 were the first steps towards modernizing Land Rover in the early 1980s. They saw the company move away from the leafspring suspension system that had been a mainstay of the range and the introduction of increasingly more powerful engines. This meant that with every new iteration, the 110 and 90’s fuel system had to become durable and more efficient. This only became truer in 1990 -- when the introduction of the Discovery saw the 90 and 110 range rechristened as the Land Rover Defender. For the next 26 years, through various engine designs, the Defender was a staple of the Land Rover range.
