Clutch Master Cylinder

Clutch Master Cylinder

The clutch master cylinder is at the heart of the clutch system. When the clutch pedal is pressed, the clutch master cylinder pushes fluid through to the clutch slave cylinder to disengage the clutch.

With frequent use however, a clutch master cylinder can wear out over time. Common signs that you have a problem include experiencing issues with pressing the clutch pedal, noticing dirty or low clutch fluid in your reservoir, and having trouble shifting through gears effortlessly.

The clutch master cylinder is an important component within any vehicle and the issues attributed to a faulty clutch master cylinder come at a hefty price, so it's better to act quickly if yours isn't working. In fact, if left, the performance of your Land Rover can decline significantly, possibly leading to damage to your transmission.

We highly recommend checking this essential piece of equipment regularly and seeking a compatible replacement if your vehicle is showing signs of wear.
