Half rear door to fit Defenders 90 & 110 models 1983-2016

This is a sideways opening door and opens just like the original door, but is just cut in half!

This has a hot dipped galvanised frame with a galvanised steel skin, The zinc on the skin is electroplated so is perfectly smooth and ideal for painting

This door is very strong and will last a very long time!

Uses all of your original door handle, hinges and check strap bracket etc. So all of your old door parts will swap over onto this
If you currently have a full rear door fitted you will need to move the striker which is bolted inside the body tub down 7cm lower. However, this is just 2 holes which are easily drilled. The reason for this is the position of the handle is lower down than in the standard full rear door so it looks correct in relation to the overall size of the door. As if you cut a standard rear door in half the handle recess ends up being right at the top of the door which doesn't look so nice. This is unique on the market and looks superb!

If you are converting from a drop-down tailgate then you will need to drill the new holes for the striker anyway.

Comes complete with a hot dipped galvanised steel capping which finishes the top to match with your tub cappings. (This is just pop riveted on so if you do not wish to paint, you can remove this, paint the door and then re-attach with new pop rivets for a nice contrast)

The skin is also bonded to the frame.
