Land Rover Outdoors

The sun has been peeking out and with temperatures set to soar, allegedly, we have picked out some of our favourite accessories for your Land Rover. Whether it is a trip to the coast or wild camping in the forest, Landy’s are known as adventure-mobiles for a reason and here are just a few of the things that will help you on your way.

Roof Racks

Now, we all know that Land Rovers come with plenty of space, but if you’re out on the road, it doesn’t hurt to have that extra bit of kit to get some more storage solutions on the go. Roof racks are super versatile and mean you can clip things on and off as you need them, without worrying about being stuck for space inside. We have a whole range in stock to suit different makes and models.

This model is designed for specific Defenders and comes with detachable rails for a multitude of uses. Hard-wearing and handy, it will allow you to pack up and head out whenever the road calls you.

Bike Racks

Next up, another kind of rack. Bike racks are handy if you’re an avid cyclist or just want to head out on the open roads with the family. Whether you wish to transport your bikes on top of your Land Rover or Range Rover with a roof bar mounted cycle carrier, a roof rack bike carrier, or just wish to add a temporary solution with a tow bar mounted bike rack, we have the solution for two or more cycles available online.

Roof tents

Park up, tent up, and you’re ready to roll. Roof tents are increasingly popular with campers and travellers across the UK. Not only do they save you the time and hassle of pitching a tent on the ground, but you can get some serious views if you find a good spot to park up in. Roof tents are easy to attach and assemble, and mean you have a moving home on the go, sounds perfect to us!

The ARB Simpson Rooftent 3 (pictured right) is a dream. Unfolding in minutes, the roof tent provides sleeping quarters off the ground, protected from the elements. Spacious and comfortable, all bedding can remain inside the tent during the journey, freeing up vital storage space in the vehicle too!

Jerry Cans

Not the most exciting accessory, we know. But, if you are exploring Scotland, heading down to Cornwall, or taking your Landy off-road, chances are fuel stations are going to be few and far between. Grab yourself a jerry can and make sure you don’t get caught short when you are out on that open road.

We stock and supply 5L through to 20L cans with flexible pouring spouts also available for additional safety.

This 20L stainless steel jerry can is hard-wearing and will be able to take everything you throw at it.

Seat Covers

Sticky fingers, muddy bums, and dirty dogs assemble! Adventure isn’t associated with the cleanest of conditions, and getting stuck in means you are often left with bits of food and mother nature making their way into your car. Seat covers are a good option to keep what’s underneath looking and feeling fresh without having to compromise on that adventure lifestyle.

There are plenty of options and specs to choose from but these green waterproof seat covers are a firm favourite. Guaranteed to keep your seats clean and fresh, with a snug fit around the seat. Please note, these covers are compatible with the Discovery 1, online you’ll find a huge range of covers to suit each model of Land Rover.

Floor Mats

A nice accompaniment to the seat covers, floor mats are great for keeping things looking and feeling tip-top, catching those bits of mud and sand, and generally keeping things clean. You can grab them for the front and the back if you would like to, and make sure you take them out and give them a good clean every other day or so to prevent the build-up of debris.

When we think of floor mats, we almost always think of inside the cabin, but these rear load mats protect the back of the Landy from any kit and work gear you might be putting into the back too.

Dog Guards

Four-legged friends are always welcome, even with the aforementioned muddy paws! If you have a dog you’re travelling with, a dog guard keeps them safe and sound while travelling, and can help keep them calm too. All of ours are easy to fit and you don’t need to drill anything in, meaning you can pop them in and out as you please, with no damage to the interior.

Travel Fridges

Cool cans of coke, snacks for the road, or an emergency bottle of water. Whatever you’re taking on the run, make sure you keep it cool, as no one likes a room temperature drink or sandwich when they stop to refuel. ARB Travel fridges are small and handy, with enough room to store the goods without taking up too much space inside.

This 78L classic fridge is just the answer, with room for drinks and snacks alike, that won’t take up too much room in the cabin.

Mud Flaps

Protect your tyres as well as having a little bit of edge to your vehicle with a set of mud flaps. Yes, they get the job done, but there is something about them that makes any car look that little bit cooler, don’t you think? Nothing else says adventure-ready quite as they do.

These genuine Land Rover mud flaps are the perfect combination of those two things. Grab a set and get them on the Landy and ready for action.
